The Waldorf Salad first gained popularity in the 19th century at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Made with simple ingredients, this classic salad makes a great lunch or brunch dish. The addition of tarragon to the yoghurt dressing will give a lovely fresh flavour.
Preparation
- Start by making the dressing, combine the yogurt, mustard, tarragon and seasoning.
- Toast the walnuts in a dry frying pan. Slice the celery, apple and grapes. Toss together the toasted walnuts, celery, apple, grapes and Cosberg leaves in a large bowl.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and serve.
