Did you know that grated zucchini is an ideal ingredient for a burger? It makes the burger juicy, which is often what you miss when making a vegetarian burger. The only thing you need to pay attention to is to handle the burger with care while frying. Turn it over gently, and it will be perfect!

Preparation

  • Grate the zucchini coarsely. Slice the spring onions into rings. Drain and rinse the corn. Then, mix the corn in a bowl with the zucchini, flour, panko, eggs, and spices. Season with salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into 4 burgers with your hands.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the burgers until they are golden brown and cooked through. Fry them for a few minutes until brown and done.
  • Meanwhile, slice the red onion into thin rings and mix them in a bowl with the white wine vinegar, a pinch of salt, and hot water.
  • Finely chop the dill and mix it in a bowl with the yogurt, mayonnaise, and mustard to make a sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Halve the hamburger buns and spread them with the dill sauce. Place the burgers on top and distribute the red onion over them. Serve with the remaining sauce.
