I love using vegetables in my kitchen, which has a marked Mediterranean influence (olive oil, bread, fruits, and vegetables) Vegetables are the foundation of my diet and my kitchen in salads, sauces, in stir-fries, stews, and why not, as they are the undisputed stars of the dish. Besides being colourful and delicious, fruits and vegetables are low in calories, have lots of water, lots of fibre and full of vitamins and minerals. They have demonstrated anti-cancer properties and have no cholesterol.
A few years ago I developed lactose intolerance. So I thought this problem would limit me a lot and I would have to stop eating my favourite dishes.
I did not give up and although I am no professional cook, I made my blog www.orieloskitchen.com to help, share, and show that we can eat everything! In my blog you can find recipes and video recipes of all kinds (meat, fish, entrees, low calorie, desserts, international recipes and recipes of typical Spanish and Andalusian cuisine). They are very healthy recipes, lactose-free, and delicious :) With such a huge variety of vegetables to choose from, I enjoy experimenting to create new dishes from my kitchen.
