We love fresh food, we love the convenience of throwing beautiful fresh produce into a bowl dressing it simply and sharing it with family and friends.
The Fresh Ingredient was a family owned & operated fruit, vegetable & gourmet food store in the Newcastle area, Australia and closed down in 2019.
With a desire to make a difference, not just in their lives, but also in our community they wanted to share our love of good, local food and also our concern for the environment.
People used to stop for a chat, play the old piano, share a recipe, ask for and offer advice, request a song to be played on the record player, sip their coffee and discuss the news of the day.
